RELAP5 Plug-in
The RELAP5 plug-in was designed to supports multiple versions of RELAP5 including RELAP5/MOD3.3 and RELAP5-3D versions 2.2, 2.3, 2.4 and 2.6.
The RELAP5-3D© code was developed for best-estimate transient simulation of light water reactor coolant systems during postulated accidents. The code models the coupled behavior of the reactor coolant system and the core for loss-of-coolant accidents and operational transients such as anticipated transient without scram, loss of offsite power, loss of feedwater, and loss of flow. A generic modeling approach is used that permits simulating a variety of thermal hydraulic systems. Control system and secondary system components are included to permit modeling of plant controls, turbines, condensers, and secondary feedwater systems.
Change Log
Version 3.4.5 - Released 7/16/2010:
- An issue was resolved where rotation matrix data failed to import properly when the dyx rotation value was set to 0.0 or 1.0.
- The following updates were made to the RELAP5 model
notebook export logic:
- The hydraulic systems statistics are now listed under the RELAP5
Model report section. These statistics now include those hydraulic
systems which were not included in the list of hydro. systems defined
in the model options component. - The section for system components which do not reside in a subsystem is no longer exported when all components are contained in subsystems.
- The heatstructure summary section in the notebook will now display total heatstructure surface areas for the right and left surfaces and total heatstructure volume.
- An issue was resolved where the left heatstructure surface area was being set on the right surface in the heatstructure summary page of the model notebook.
- An issue was resolved which caused the heat structure radial mesh locations to export incorrectly.
